Sr. Firmware Engineer Job in Irvine California (CA)

An excellent understanding and ability to assess Customer System Architectures combined with a willingness to be an Individual Technical Contributor.
Experience with DSP Algorithm Development, RTOS, and Signal Processing (ADC/DAC).
Experience with High Precision Data Conversion & Mixed Signal Circuits not necessarily High Speed.
Experience with Energy Management Systems and/or Communications.
Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills with a Customer or Solutions Orientation.
Hardware Schematics and RTL Logic a plus.

Develop embedded DSP algorithms for applications including AC power sub-metering and/or motor control.
Work closely with systems engineering and IC design engineering for development of firmware/software for new products as well as in support of new applications for customers.
Participate in next generation product definition leveraging system level experience and architectural knowledge.
Participate in assessment of customer system architectures and provide integration recommendations for products.
Design and develop demo and proof of concept applications highlighting product capabilities
Participate in development and review of documentation including software users guide and programming notes as well as assist in train of Application Engineers in use and debug of device FW/SW.
Assist customers & 3rd parties in designing and troubleshooting of FW/SW Apps, as needed.
